The IFSA Strongman World Ranking for
strongman athletes is based on points earned for placings
in major competitions, and those placing points then
being multiplied by the weight applied to that particular
competition. In every IFSA Strongman World Ranking
qualified competition, athletes will earn points for
placings on the following scale:
First
place - 10 points
Second place - 8 points
Third place - 6 points
Fourth place - 5 points
Fifth place - 4 points.
Sixth place - 3 points
Seventh place - 2 points
Eighth place - 1 point
In
team events, all members of the team earn the above
placing points.
